Your arrival

Despite its location at almost 2,000 meters above sea level, the Premiumchalet Karneralm is easy and comfortable to reach. In the snow-free months you can drive right up and park in front of the chalet. In winter, parking is available at the end of the perfectly maintained and cleared road leading from Ramingstein to Karneralm. There you can load your luggage into a transport sled. You can reach the chalet in just under 10 minutes via the prepared forest path. However, WINTER TIRES are hopefully a matter of course in winter!

From Germany

From Munich on the A8 to Salzburg. Then take the A10 Tauernautobahn in the direction of Graz/Villach. Drive through the toll Tauern Tunnel to the St. Michael exit, then continue via Tamsweg to Ramingstein. There follow the signposted turn-off to the Karneralm. Alternatively, take the Altenmarkt / Radstadt exit and continue via Obertauern (pass) to Tamsweg and Ramingstein.

From Salzburg Airport

At the airport, take the A1 towards Graz/Villach. At the Salzburg junction, continue on the A10 Tauernautobahn in the direction of Graz/Villach. Drive through the Tauern tunnel (toll) to the St. Michael exit and continue via Tamsweg to Ramingstein. Alternatively, take the Altenmarkt / Radstadt exit and continue via Obertauern (pass) to Tamsweg and Ramingstein.
